Rescheduled Game(5/24/23) BCRC Slammers @ Frosty Hollow Trashers

It was a Wednesday night matchup under the lights at Frosty Hollow Hard Courts Stadium. A packed stadium made for lots of noise.

The Frosty Hollow Trashers starters were announced;

SINGLES STARTERS:

Zach McGowan

Tarik Bassal

DOUBLES STARTERS:

Lance Shaffer / Dave Leno

Bob Hawley / Eric Ulzinow

The Slammers jumped out with a 4-0 lead. They then picked up another 4 points to make the lead 8-0. With the Trashers needing a comeback they were in need of some points. Lance Shaffer and Dave Leno scored 5 points to make the score 8-5. The weather started to turn and the rain came down which halted the action. Zach McGowan is stuck in the 3rd Set and Doubles3 Pair has not began their court play as of yet.

The Slammers are currently up 8-5 but with two courts to go, this is certainly looking like an epic showdown. Keep it locked here on the media team for up to date action when the playing courts are going to continue! The playoffs are in a month and every point is meaningful to be able to stamp a playoff ticket!

The trash talk has certainly begun within the division!

It seems like it’s going to be a five team race for the final playoff position. The standings are tight with about 3 weeks to go in the regular season. If the Wild Card position is close between the teams within point percentages, the league would have a “Play In Game”. Keep cheering this team on!
