(6/1/24) UDSC Renaissance @ Frosty Hollow Trashers

It was the Home Opener for the Frosty Hollow Trashers on a nice afternoon! A perfect day for tennis as the hard courts were prepped for game day. The parking lot was filled at game time as fans were filling up court side. The away team strolled down the path near the courts with confidence because of where they were positioned in the standings. UDSC Renaissance were coming into todays game as the current #1 seed in the division!

With the home crowd sporting the Trasher black and yellow, the starting lineups were announced.

PLAYING THE DOUBLES POSITIONS!

D1: Lance Shaffer and Ashish Patel

D2: Aaron Gray and Andrew Humphreys

D3: Dave Miller and Andy Olson

UDSC Renaissance jumped out with a 3-0 lead and were sending fist pumps. However, it was then Ben Pinter who answered the bell and scored 5 points. He scored the first points of the 2024 season for the Trashers @ The Frosty Hollow Trasher Hard Court Stadium! It was then the UDSC Renaissance to come back with 5 points to make the score 8-5 in the away teams favor. Tarik Bassal then stamped in 4 points on the home score sheet! With the score 9-8 it all came down to Aaron Gray and Andrew Humphreys 4 point court. It was time for the closers as the pressure was in. Gray and Humphreys did their job and got a big close with the 4 points!

A huge revenge win for the Trashers today on their 2024 Home Opener! The Trashers are hunting for the Wild Card bid for the playoffs!
