(6/8/24) Kinetix @ Frosty Hollow Trashers,

It was Team Kinetix who came to town today to take on the Frosty Hollow Trashers. It was a full week of nastiness from Team Kinetix which some of them then apologized twice for their actions during game week. However, it did not stop him and some of his players to continue looking for any way to make the Home Trasher team forfeit a court from a previous match. (Full Story In Person and on Instagram)

Game day was started with a lock and bang as the Park Rangers of Middletown were on the scene to welcome the Kinetix and Trasher players.

Once they yellow gate was opened it was time for the lineups to be announced. Since Kinetix only brought 6 out of 8 starters today, his team decided to only play 3 Doubles Courts.

The Trashers Starters for this matchup were,

Dave Leno / Andrew Humphreys

DOUBLES 3:

Ashish Patel / Andy Olson

By USTA rule, the Trashers are supposed to take the SINGLES 1 and SINGLES 2 Positions as Wins but we’ll see what’s in store there. The Trashers tried their best being nice all week and even in the pre-game festivities.

It was Zach McGowan and Lance Shaffer who sent a wave through the home crowd and scored 5 points. From there, the away team clawed back to take the lead 7-5. The unnecessary actions from the away team during the week and in todays game were disgusting. If there was ever a time for the Trashers slogan We (Trashers) don't get pushed around. That doesn't happen here. We stick up for each other. That's the Trasher mentality” IT WAS TODAY!

An individual on Team Kinetix might have took the cake for being one the most unpleasant players on the team. It was rumored that his pet cat was in the parking lot.

Trasher player, Ashish certainly is due for a contract extension after todays fiasco.

“You could talk to your ____________ cat like that but not my Captain”

A terrific one liner which could possibly be made into a t shirt for the playoff run!

Other Trashers then came to the defense and all was handled and that’s of course one the reasons which makes the Trashers one of the best and maybe the only team in the league with the camaraderie they have. (Full Story In Person and on Instagram)

As some of the fans in crowd stated, “An entire week of the Team Kinetix Captain(s) looking for every way possible to get free wins and ignorant language and then during game day it was somewhat more of the same! The Trashers did a great job in keeping their cool and not escalating the situation during the week and game day! A bystander said, As Team Kinetix headed for the exits you could almost see the embarrassment on their faces of how they acted today.

The Trashers of course named after their hockey team in Danbury, certainly almost had a page taken out of their playbook today!

All in all the Trashers are in good position but have only a few games to go in the season to secure a playoff bid. Every game is huge now and the games are going to have playoff implications.

The road to the playoffs has officially started. Tell your friends and family to come out and cheer this team on for a true home court advantage!
