(5/6/23) Philly Jawns @ Frosty Hollow Trashers

It was the 2023 Home Opener for the Frosty Hollow Trashers as they welcomed the Philly Jawns.

It was a nice day for tennis and the Trashers came out in their black colored jerseys with red and gray design. The hard courts sported new nets for this season.

It was doubles duo Bob Hawley and Randy Swadlow who set up the crowd to make some noise by scoring 5 points. The Philly Jawns would grab and claw back to make things closer by scoring 4 points. They then took a 8-5 lead. It was then Singles player Lance Shaffer who slid his way into a court win by scoring 5 points. However, the away team quieted the home crowd for the afternoon as they defeated the Trashers by a score of 11-10. The Trashers move to 0-2 but have scored court wins which keep them currently in for playoff contention. Come out and wear the colors and cheer on this Trasher team as they seem to be the talk of the town.
